Thanksgiving weekend
I had a lot of food this weekend..., but what I had was not only that: a lot of warm gathering.
As lunch on Sunday, I tried to cook Tonjiru for my cousin family to tell my thanks to them.
Cuz appearently there is no sliced pork belly in North America, I had to slice the thick ones by my self, which takes super long time. Haha
and I leaned we cannot make miso-yakionigiri by using a pan, for its gonna be stuck with it.
From afternoon, I went to another cousin’s house, and saw a really cute moon cake. They saved this for me since the origin of my name is related to moon🌕 谢谢🙏
This morning, I had brunch with my two cousins, uncle and auntie :)
The waffle my auntie let me try was so good!
I had this with fresh strawberries! (Eventually I had another piece of waffles and noodles that my uncle cooked...!!!)
I always appreciate food because it creates a nice atmosphere to connect peoples.
Though I might (... am pretty sure) that I ate too much this weekend, I’m satisfied with this feeling right now. No regrets :)
Wanna say thank you to everyone who have accompaning me, supporting me and helping me.
