一年半いた街をもう一度歩き回って

It's already March 14th, which means it's only a month left till I leave Toronto.
I've come here a couple times before actually starting this long-term study abroad, so I have a lot of memories here.

Last week, one of my Japanese friend, currently studying in US, came visiting me, and it allowed me to walk around downtown area once again.

Toronto is culturally diverse city as most people ackowlege. Whenever I miss Asian food, numerous choices are available in downtown; so we had a rice noodle for brunch:)

It was a bit chilly day for walking aroud, but we gained the energy to do that here:)
(Btw although I tried to speak Chinese as much as possible, I still couldn't understand what staffs were talking about orz)

The west side of downtown subway is known as neighborhood town such as Chinwas and Italian town/communities. The building and stores are completely looked differently from other parts of Toronto, demonstrating their cultures and unique lives. So, travelling Toronto brings numerous cultural experiences, too.

Then, I was also impressed Toronto's classic food market called St.Lawrence market.

This seafood market stall was super popular!

This place was so lively and filled with a lot of people despite it was a week day.
I had a really nice crab cake, and my friend ordered a robstar roll, and both were pretty good; however, we just realized how much we'd influenced by junky style food during our study abrod lol. No hesitation to order fries as side 🍟 instead of salad now

We also went to Toronto's most iconic architecture, CN tower! it was first time in 4 years for me!

Usually normal tickets allow you to go to only 2 different leveles of observatories. On that day, however, we were lucky that we could go to the another (highest) level's observatory without extra fees! (Probably because it was cloudy?, or still occasionally constructions were seen?)
Though it might not the best day to actually go up to the top to see the view, it was still beautiful and so much fun!

While walking around the city, I remember a lot of memories including the sweet and bitter. One year and four months is a long period indeed, but what I appreciate the most is this experience was full of learnings, crashes, and perseverances.

To be honest, my English level hasn't jumped up, yet it has been improved some what. But the most core part through the stay is about the cultural experiences, which I couldn't have without living here for a certain period.
Th idea of color-blind, social justice, equity, and human rights. Dilemma, conflict and protestant. This culturally diverse city is established with a lot of people's different perspectives, compromise, and tolerance.

It is truly sad that I couldn't take any courses at this moment due to strike. But I'd like to use this time for reflecting my study here and attempting to fully explore Canadian cultures till the last moment.
